Refresh At Application Launch

Hi, I have an iPhone 5 running IOS 7.0.2 and using MyDoorOpener v3.0. I have the option enabled to refresh the status "At Application Launch". It works fine the first time I open the app, but if I change back to the home screen, and then tap the MyDoorOpener app again, it won't refresh at launch. If I kill the app (from running in the background), and launch it again, it works. Is this working as expected, or is it possible to have it refresh regardless whether it's running in the background or not?

Hi Tom,

Indeed, the behavior you are seeing is "as expected". The event we are observing occurs when launching of the application,
which only occurs once until the application gets shutdown and re-launched again.

There is another iOS application event that we could attach onto and refresh every single time the application regains
focus ... We'll add that to our backlog and it should be available in a future release.

Best regards,
