error in installation

I didn't properly follow instructions after purchasing my Door Opener App.
Now when I try to connect I'm not able to input my passcode and I'm getting a "Could not connect to server"
Can I delete the app and re-install it or will I have to purchase it again if I delete ?

OR - what can I do to correctly install the app ??

Once you've purchased an app from the Apple App Store, you can download it again free of charge.
