Most likely some form of memory corruption. Have you tried disabling some other features (other notifications, etc) and see if that helps? You can also try reducing
memory usage by having shorter string values. The Arduino's memory being very limited, it could be that you're too tight on memory.

Just answering your question.....No... I never got the prowl notifications working. I'll try again at a later date. I haven't given up (yet) Its just difficult to test while installed.
Everything else works fine... I just never got the prowl thing to happen for me.
