App Not Communicating via NAT port Foward

Hello

I am using version 3.1 of MyDoorOpener.

I have the Arduino behind my router/firewall if I configured the port forward on my Linksys E4200 router to receive from the internet in port 80 and forward to the Arduino in port 80 everything works fine.

If I change the port in the internet side example us port 7979 I configure in the app the URL as http://myweb.domain.com:7979 and it will not communicate with the Arduino.

I checked from a machine from the internet and I do see the response on the browser from the Arduino it would show this;

Closed Cyber0293

Thanks

Hi,

It should work, as that is also the configuration we use, as outlined below:

Internet (exposed @ port 8080 externally) -> Router/LAN -> Arduino (listening @ port 80 internally)

Make sure you update the URL in the iPhone app configuration. To make sure the new configuration
is taken into account by the app, completely remove the app from the iPhone memory and re-launch it.

To do so, double-click the "home" button on your iPhone and than swap the "MyDoorOpener" app up ... This
will remove it from memory. You can then re-launch it fresh with the latest configuration.

Keep us posted as to this resolved the issue.
