Hey team,

Still loving my garage door opener, and was pretty excited to see that I could add different devices like cameras. I'm getting a lockitron shortly, and would like to know if there is a way for these two devices to interact in any way. I'm sure there are some more creative ideas out there, but I'd love to be able to check the status of my front door and garage door from one app. Any thoughts?

Hi Colm,

Lockitron does seem to use some type of Arduino compatible controller as its foundation, so you could envision
modifying their .INO file so that it complies with our URL/XML payload structure. If you manage to do that, then
our iPhone app would seamlessly be able to control it, just as another "typical" MyDoorOpener controller. The
iPhone app wouldn't know the difference between a Lockitron device and a regular MyDoorOpener controller ...

Probably not an easy task, but if you do go down that path, let us know. That'd be a very cool project.
