Shortcut

Postby pablu » Tue Aug 05, 2014 3:03 pm

Hi there,

Mydooropener is not opening the garage door. I get the status. I have checked configuration several times and it should work. One posible cause for it for not to work is that I set up inversed polarity for a few seconds (20/30s) until I realized that the board was getting warm  . I changed polarity and leds turned on.

My question is how can I know if my circuitery got damaged? When I power it up a see a few leds including "led 4" which I assume it belongs to rele 4. Leds for reles 1, 2 and 3 do not ever light up. Does this mean anything?

Some more info: If I configure door to be opened from rele 4, it gets opened as soon as I power up the arduino.

Many thanks,

Pau

Hi pablu,

I suggest you post your question on the Arduino community forums as they have a
much broader audience that may be able to provide an answer to your question.

http://forum.arduino.cc/

There are most likely ways to confirm a board is faulty or not, but I wouldn't know.

Sorry!

Thanks for your reply. I will.

Does the led on rele4 being on and the others 3 being off tells you anything? Would that be the normal state?

Thanks,

Pau
