iphone apps

Postby cedric » Mon Jan 26, 2015 10:21 pm

just finished configuring iphone apps the thing is on the apps in order to work on wifi and on lte i have to configure 2 device,
1 with my internal ip adress , and the other with my external ip adress.
i only have 1 realy not 2 and only operate 1 door.

so its like :
device 1 (lte) this one dont work when i am wifi
device 2 (wifi) this one dont work when i am on lte

my question is, is it suppose to be like that or i messed up something

Hi Cedric,

Typically, you'd always use the external IP address, even when from within your local network. It should work,
for as long as you have properly configured your router and most likely NAT forwarding to your Arduino.

Hi Cedric,

Not sure I understand what you're saying here ... Are you saying your NAT forward works for more/less 100 requests
and then starts to fail ? If so, I'd change my router, as this is not normal. It either works or doesn't ... Odd ...
