can't access arduino web server remotely

Postby andreo77 » Tue Jan 06, 2015 3:56 am

Hi,good day
i need help with my garage opener
the case is that i have the arduino and it is all set and configured and working perfectly
but, i only can send the parameters when i am locally connected to my network(home) because i cannot forward the ports to the arduino server becuse of isp blocking all ports. i tried everything that came up to my mind but it is worth less
i tried changing the port to a higher range but no help

the thing is, can i get a work around for that?
for example if i had a web server running on the internet that handles the commands and i set the arduino only to read from that server(" i know this is a bad idea  because it will cause an overload to the server)

so , can you please help me with this?

thanks

I can't think of anything but to have the Arduino sit on the Internet or DMZ. Maybe someone else has another idea?
