Indeed, that component has been discontinued for some time now ... We don't know of any substitute parts,
but you could easily connect things up together using home made joints, from either solder or tape. Those
connecting blocks are passive and in no way do they add anything to the overall circuitry, except maybe a
more cosmetic look to the final result.
By the way, since over a year, we now recommend another assembly process which is simpler, requires less
components and among other things, doesn't require those connecting blocks altogether. Look at the latest
tutorial document from our web site's download section.
