I love your site and am excited to begin implementing your well established garage door setup and purchase your iPhone app. I've consider many options for my hardware, from paying $90 to $100 for the Adruino setup you specified in your latest PDF to using the Raspberry Pi for about $60. The Raspberry Pi includes the USB connections, etc., but I am concerned that you don't support it as much as the Adruino. However, with the Andruino, with never using one, I see I should buy the kit that includes the USB2SERAIL adapter, though I gather this USB connection is required simply for uploading the code to the Adruino itself (ever again after that bside future updates?). Anyhow, after researching this, I came accross an Intel (Adruino based) kit (Intel Galileo Development Board) that includes everything except the relay (power adapter, 2 USB ports, Ethernet, etc.).
My question for you, when looking at the Intel Galileo Development Board, do you beleive this will work in place of your hardware setup (especially when adding the relay)? It's $60 plus the relay, which makes it cheaper, has more features, good power outputs and seems to be an overall good combination board.

What do you think?
