Wifi Install

Postby slangley » Sat Oct 26, 2013 2:41 am

Since I don't have ethernet in my garage, or at least not in a good place to get it to the unit, I made an all in one unit with Wifi:

Powered off a single 12v DC input, the Wifi is run from the Arduino 5v output. It's all in a project box, and sealed. Never gets too warm and has been running great for ~2 years.

Always cool to see the smart ideas people come up with to adapt MyDoorOpener
