Wondering if this could be done in app or in backend software but if you wanted to use two sensors to get better sense of door position. One at close and one at open and if both are open then door would be stopped somewher inbetween.

Wow ... That's what I call precision! Never had that feature requested before,
but hey ... If people want it, we'll do it ...

This could be implemented either as a front-end of back-end addition.

Let's see if we have other people interested in such feature ?

That would be a great feature. Adding multiple inputs allows many new features. I use the app to control my gate, and the gate controller has an output for gate in motion. Then we could remotely see if the gate is full open, full closed, stopped in the middle, or in motion.

We'll see if this can be done without adding too much complexity to the application as it is an "advanced" feature
that not so many people will use. It would be unfortunate to "impose" that extra complexity to users that don't
need this.
