Android App?

My wife left the garage door open when she left today again. When I came home to the open door, I decided to search for a device app like this. This is a great idea, I would like to try and build this, but I use an Android phone. I searched the forum and didn't see any info if an Android app is in the works. Are the any plans to make an app for android?

Hi,

That's a question that comes along often. Unfortunately there isn't any Android version in
progress. This doesn't mean there never will be, but it's not on our short term radar.

Any new updates on this? I switched to Android 2 years ago and mydooropener is the only thing I miss it worked great on my 3 garage doors Sadly there are no Arduino based garage door apps at all for Android I have looked for 2 years! My unit is unplugged waiting to be used again.

Just checking in on this as I see it's been another 7 months and I'm contemplating switching to Android... Any chance you are working on an Android version now?
