I currently use your app with an Arduino and love it. I recently purchased a Particle Photon and would like to use it. Is there any possibility the app can be updated to include the ability to control a Particle Photon? Because the particle photon is already wifi enabled.

The reason I would like to move away from the Arduino is I need to have an open port on my router. I regularly have someone / something pinging the open port which at times impacts my internet speed.

Not sure exactly there would be enough demand to justify porting this to Particle Photon, but since our back-end code is fully open source, there's nothing preventing you from doing so yourself. Someone has already ported our backend to the Raspberry Pi platform, so I don't see why this wouldn't also be possible.
